Advantages of Stainless Steel Pots

Stainless steel pots are not only beautiful in appearance and exquisite in structure, but also have many advantages, such as durability, corrosion resistance, rust prevention, ease of processing, and resistance to deformation. These advantages are due to the chromium alloy element contained in the steel, which forms a strong oxide film (passivation film) on the surface of the steel, effectively isolating the metal from the external medium and preventing chemical reactions. Even in high or low temperature environments, stainless steel pots maintain their excellent corrosion resistance.

Seasoning and Maintenance of Stainless Steel Pots

Seasoning is a crucial step before using a stainless steel pot. First, wash the pot with clean water to remove surface dust and impurities. Next, apply a layer of cooking oil, such as peanut oil or olive oil, to nourish the pot and enhance its non-stick properties. Finally, slowly heat the pot over low heat until the oil temperature is suitable, then turn off the heat and let the pot cool naturally. The stainless steel pot is now seasoned and ready to cook.

Seasoning Steps
Pour an appropriate amount of white vinegar into the stainless steel pot and heat it.

Wipe the inside and outside of the pot thoroughly with white vinegar. Next, rinse the pan with hot water and ensure it is completely dry inside and out. The pan is now ready for use.

Daily Maintenance Method
Apply a cleaning solution specifically designed for stainless steel to the surface of the pan and let it sit for 5-10 minutes. Then, gently scrub with a sponge cloth, rinse thoroughly, and dry quickly.

The Secret of Non-Stick Pans and Seasoning
Non-stick pans are able to cook easily without sticking to the bottom thanks to their unique non-stick coating. Currently, Teflon and ceramic coatings stand out in the market for their superior non-stick performance and are widely praised. For newly purchased non-stick pans, proper seasoning is key to ensuring their longevity.
